Yield: 26-30 meatballs

Italian Meatballs

Italian style meatballs with Italian sausage and Italian bread crumbs

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 pound bulk Italian sausage
  • 1/4 cup onions, minced
  • 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350-degrees.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well with hands.
  3. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator 3 - 4 hours.
  4. Remove from fridge and begin forming into golf ball-size meatballs.
  5. Place meatballs on cookie sheet 1-inch apart.
  6. Bake in oven 15 - 20 minutes, until firm to the touch and no longer pink in the middle.
