New York Strip Steak Recipe

Ingredients - Steaks

  1. 2 New York Strip Steaks


Ingredients - Bourbon Marinade

  1. 6 oz. dark brown sugar
  2. 7 oz. Jack Daniels
  3. 9 oz. pineapple concentrate
  4. 5 oz. soy sauce
  5. 32 oz. water


Ingredients - Jack Daniels Glaze

  1. 8 oz. pineapple concentrate
  2. 6 oz. Jack Daniels
  3. 4 oz. dark brown sugar
  4. 8 oz. soy sauce
  5. 8 oz. water
  6. Cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with a little water)


Directions - Bourbon Marinade

  1. Combine sugar and Jack Daniels, stir until dissolved into a syrup.
  2. Add pineapple and stir.
  3. Add soy sauce and stir.


Directions - Jack Daniels Glaze

  1. Combine all, bring to a simmer.
  2. Add a cornstarch slurry and stir until desired thickness.
  3. Strain and hold to hot.
  4. Add a splash of Jack Daniels before serving.


Serving Instructions

  1. Place steaks in a pan..
  2. Pour bourbon marinade over steaks, making sure they are totally covered.
  3. Let sit refrigerated for 24 hours.
  4. Grill until done, brushing with Jack Daniels Glaze.
