Kahlua Mousse

Yield: 6 portions

Kahlua Mousse

A light, fluffy mousse with the addition of kahlua

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Kahlua
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1 Tbl fine instant coffee (your choice)
  • 2 Tbl ground Ghirardelli chocolate
  • 2 c whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Chill a bowl and a beater.
  2. Put all ingredients into the chilled bowl and whip until stiff.
  3. Spoon into dessert glasses or put the mixture into a pastry bag and pipe it into the glasses.
  4. Serve topped with whipped cream and a liberal sprinkle of grated chocolate or if you're feeling extravagant, garnish with a piece of chocolate lace or grated chocolate.
