Hummus

Yield: 20 servings

Hummus

A dip made from mashed chickpeas (garbanzo beans), and seasoned with lemon juice, garlic and tahini (sesame seed paste).

Ingredients

  • 32 ounces Chickpeas, canned, drained, and rinsed
  • 5 T. Tahini, mix well
  • 2 T. Garlic, roasted
  • 1 t. Garlic, fresh
  • 10 each Lemons, juiced
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Place Chickpeas in a blender or food processor.
  2. Puree until smooth.
  3. Add tahini, both garlics, and half the lemon juice.
  4. Mix.
  5. Adjust lemon juice and finish with salt and pepper.
